We’re. So. Excited. The Verne team is nominated for the 2024 Car Design News People Awards! While creating safer, more efficient, sustainable, and enjoyable journeys is more important to us than awards, it still feels fantastic to be recognized by the industry. And in four categories, no less: ▪️ Best UX Design Team ▪️ Most Supportive Design Leader ▪️ Best Lighting Design Team ▪️ Best Studio Engineering Team The awards ceremony is on December 5th in London. Win or lose, cheers to every team member for their dedication and creativity. 🐈

It’s been five years since the founders of Verne Mate Rimac, Marko Pejković, and Adriano Mudri turned “What if” into “Let’s make it happen”. Today, we’re adding another “Let’s” and that’s “Let’s celebrate” because it’s our 5th birthday! Here’s to everyone who's been part of this journey so far. We’ve come a long way, and there’s so much more to come. 🐈

Meet our new CEO Darren Gwynne. Marko Pejković, Verne's co-founder and former CEO, continues as a member of the Management Board and Chief Business Officer (CBO). Pejković will focus on further growth and development of the business and the global positioning of the company. "We believe that Darren's experience in setting up serial production of motor vehicles is crucial in the development of our company at this stage. We continue to strengthen our organisation in accordance with project development, taking into account that the scale of our efforts will only increase, and our most demanding challenges are ahead of us,“ Marko said. Darren has been with Verne since 2020 and brings over 30 years of experience. His strong expertise will guide us into the next phase of our project development. Just Goran Višnjić making the Verne car look even cooler. But hold on. He wasn’t the only star in the videos you saw on our socials in recent months. Our dream team, led by Max Siedentopf and Ignazio Morello, was right there with him, bringing the Verne story to life through these fire videos. We’re max level grateful to all the specialists and creatives who made this happen and chose to be part of our journey. Whether they were in front of the camera or behind it, they’re all stars to us. Period. ✨
