At Xylon, we are proud to have once again contributed to the development of innovative solutions for the automotive industry. This time, we teamed up with S2C, Arm, and ZC Technology, enabling parts of a hybrid prototyping solution for automotive microcontroller units (MCUs)—one of the most critical components of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) driving the evolution of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs). Xylon contributed to the project by providing a high-speed bus interface IP, modified for seamless integration with automotive MCUs. Additionally, Xylon developed an FMC add-on board allowing a direct connection between S2C’s Prodigy Prototyping system for next-generation Arm Cortex-R52 MCUs and existing automotive MCUs with standard automotive peripherals. This powerful prototyping platform paves the way for faster, more efficient SDV development, helping engineers reduce risks and accelerate innovation.
