eChemicles is out of the office, we are planting trees! 🌱 Being fully committed to the importance of protecting our planet, even on our team building we do our best not only to preserve nature but to nurture it.   We have just spent 2 invaluable days deepening interpersonal connection among our team members, while we had a great opportunity to connect with #nature as well. Focusing on building cohesion, we all shared a great time improving our #cooperation with each other through playful activities relying on #teamwork! 💚 Thanks to the time, we spent together, long-lasting experiences and deeper friendships were created.   Our two-day team building event culminated in eChemicles ‘adopting’ and planting saplings in the Arboretum of Szarvas. These trees will grow and stand tall in the future representing our bond with nature, always reminding us what we are working for. 🌳   #team #sustainability #environment #NetZero #mission #earth

Bjørt Óladóttir Joensen spends a few months researching at eChemicles in regards of an international collaboration! 🚀   “My name is Bjørt, and I am currently a PhD student at the DTU - Technical University of Denmark (DTU). As part of the Danish PhD program, we are given the unique opportunity to collaborate with international companies, research institutes, and universities. I am excited to share that I am doing a 3-month external stay at eChemicles in Szeged, Hungary. My research focuses on understanding the mechanisms and changes in high current density CO₂ electrolysis devices. During my stay at eChemicles, my research focus will include developing activation and conditioning protocols. I chose eChemicles, because I get to learn from some of the leading scientists and engineers within the field, and this stay is a valuable opportunity to advance my expertise and contribute to sustainable technologies. 🌱”   Bjørt’s supervisor, Dorottya Hursán, added: “Bjørt's expertise and research interest matches well our company's focus. 🧩 She will contribute to better understand the chemical processes taking place inside our electrolysers. We expect that the results of her project will help us to improve our technology and particularly our MEA. The containerized prototype of eChemicles’s sustainable technology is almost finished and nearly ready to go! 🚀   Our container is nearing completion. After the final touches we will take the #container to its new home for testing. 🏗️ The relocation and final check-up will be followed by the ramp up phase, including the testing of the #automation. The software ensuring autonomous operation was developed in-house by our expert colleagues.   At eChemicles we are excitedly awaiting our electrolyser stack to be installed into the container and kicking off the container experiments supplied by renewable resources. The PARCOVAL project has officially been started! 🎉 Our colleagues have visited Orano for the kick-off meeting of the EU-funded PARCOVAL project in the frame of HORIZON EURATOM. The #project explores the catalytic potential of radioactive palladium (recovered from depleted nuclear fuel) and eChemicles will contribute its expertise and green technology in CO₂ to CO conversion.
