It has been said that leadership is not about wielding authority, it is about empowering people. DBA supervisors at ATU Donegal enjoyed a highly engaging and insightful workshop on supervisory skills last week, with Prof Clare Rigg of Lancaster University, and Hugh Kearns from #iThinkWell. We look forward to putting these skills into action with our own DBA students in the coming semester. #DICELabs #DBA #Research

DICE Labs recently held a research café for PGRs in the Faculty of Business. The focus was on sharing and finding solutions for common research issues. Topics raised included imposter syndrome, fluctuating productivity, and the isolation of academic research, among many others. The informal structure encouraged sharing, and everyone agreed it was a really worthwhile and useful process. We look forward to the next session!
