⚠️URGENT⚠️ Dublin City Council would like to warn the public that it has been made aware of fake QR codes being placed on a number of Pay and Display parking machines in the Wicklow County Council area. This fake QR code sticker brings the user to a fraudulent cloned website which requests credit card details and other personal data. All reported incidents have been passed to An Garda Siochana. As a precaution Dublin City Council is advising all users not to scan any QR codes that may appear on Pay and Display machines or Payzone signage. Users are reminded that they can pay using cash or credit cards at the machines and are advised that if they wish to pay online that they download the correct Payzone parking app directly to their phone. We encourage everyone to be careful when paying online, and to ensure they are using a genuine app. Should anyone notice anything suspicious or if a scam has taken place, please contact Payzone or An Garda Siochana.

Meet Seán Fay, founder of Whole Village Hiring and the first LEO Dublin City Disability Ambassador! #WholeVillageHiring™ is an intelligent platform that helps companies hire more from the talent that might be in, but not on the market. Whole Village Hiring was awarded a Feasibility Grant in 2023, as well as being approved for an IP Start Grant. For Seán, his role as LEO Dublin City’s First Disability Ambassador is an important one. His aim is to encourage more people with disabilities to step into entrepreneurship and to reach out to their Local Enterprise Office for support in doing so. "Ireland has the lowest level of disability employment in the EU27, with a disability employment rate of just 32.6%, almost 20% below the EU average. So hopefully more people with any type of disability will think about using their difference to make a difference. There is too much focus on the structure of your company, whether it's 'not for profit' or otherwise. A better yardstick is the impact you make—what dent can you put in the universe, and what did you achieve in the dash between your dates.” If you are a person with a disability who is interested in setting up your own business, please visit Self Employment Supports For People with Disabilities page on our website and contact us with any questions: https://lnkd.in/esNr2p4p We are here to support you in your entrepreneurial journey. #UseYourDifferencetoMakeaDifference #Entrepreneurs #SMEs #LEODublinCity #MakingitHappen #Leaders #leadership #mentoring #DisabilityAwareness #DisabilityEmpowerment #BusinessOwners #Founders #WomeninBusiness #BusinessAdvice #NeurodiversityinBusiness
