Breaking Barriers – Woman Led, Town Chamber First To Claim National Title!    Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber has been named Chamber of the Year at the 2023 Chamber Awards.   For the first time the Award has been bestowed to a Town Chamber, and significantly the first time too for a female led Chamber.   The annual Chamber Awards seek to recognise the outstanding work of Chambers around the country. These Awards are a chance for Chambers to showcase their achievements across a variety of categories, from innovative projects to successful events, as well as creative collaborations between companies, local authorities and more. The awards are organized by Chambers Ireland and sponsored by Zurich Insurance   The D&WW Chamber also scooped two category awards: ‘Partnership for Business’ category for their work supporting Ukrainian refugees gaining local employment. ‘Event of the Year’ as they carried out the first ‘Menopause In The Workplace’ event for employers in the country. CEO of Dungarvan & West Waterford Chamber, Jenny Beresford is delighted with the Awards. “We are so proud in particular to be awarded Chamber of The Year, it’s the highest honour in our industry!
