In 2020, Brendan and Des were selected as Endeavor Entrepreneurs, and since then, we've been thrilled to witness LearnUpon’s scaling journey. This year, LearnUpon has achieved significant milestones, including reaching over 20 million users, serving more than 1,500 customers, and facilitating 150 million course completions. They have also continued their expansion into EMEA with a new office in London, while experiencing strong growth in the US. LearnUpon’s LMS is now utilized in over 40 countries, with more than 1,000 customers in the US alone. Their impressive achievements have earned them recognition as a “Strong Performer” and “Exemplary Leader” from leading analyst firms such as Forrester, Fosway Group, and Ventana Research. Additionally, they have recently launched LearnUpon Anywhere, a new integrated learning tool, and announced strategic partnerships with industry leaders including Easygenerator, Colossyan, and Arist, further solidifying their position as industry leaders. Founded in 2012, Des and Brendan bootstrapped LearnUpon with a vision to create an easy-to-implement LMS supported by exceptional customer service. Last week, Keelvar's CEO and Endeavor Entrepreneur Alan Holland, along with CTO Valentina Roques and Endeavor Ireland MD Rory Guinan, participated in the Endeavor Executive Education Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Over five transformative days, they immersed themselves in dynamic learning alongside fellow Endeavor Network leaders who were tackling similar scaling challenges. One of the many impactful sessions involved learning from renowned Stanford GSB Professor Ilya Strebulaev, author of Venture Mindset. His lecture on the finance of disruption offered game-changing insights. Mimicking VC funds, companies can build a pyramid of bets to stay ahead and avoid being disrupted. Amazon's approach provides a perfect example: ➡Core: Running thousands of A/B tests for Amazon Prime. ➡Adjacent: Venturing into new areas like Prime Book Box for Kids. ➡New: Innovating with breakthrough products like Alexa and AWS. This program allows founders and C-level leaders to step back from daily operations, refine strategies, and forge powerful connections, driving both personal and professional growth.

Back in May, we gathered our network for two jam-packed days at Cliff at Lyons, focusing on networking and sharing ideas. A special thank you to Colm Mackin and Helen Reavey, Founders of Act+Acre, Inc., Endeavor Entrepreneur Konstantin Rangelov, of DRONAMICS, and Jack Kirwan, Co-Founder and CEO of Sprout & Co, for their insightful sessions and generous contributions. One of the highlights was the enthralling fireside chat with Endeavor Ireland Founding Chairman The Edge, founding Board Member Denis O'Brien, and Endeavor Entrepreneur Barry Napier, the first Irish founder selected into the Endeavor network in March 2020. It is often said that the value of Endeavor lies in its people, and this event truly brought that to life. We connected through enjoyable activities, fascinating guest speakers, and fantastic food. We’re excited to bring together our board members, Endeavor entrepreneurs, mentors, and friends of the network again as we host the 100th International Selection Panel in Dublin this September. Massive congratulations to the team at AMCS Group for securing one of the largest technology deals in Irish history! We recently stepped out of the office for a team day out in sunny Dun Laoghaire! We kicked off the day with a public speaking workshop led by Bill Conry of Corporate Charisma. Bill brought a unique approach by combining his corporate and stand-up comedy experience, making the session engaging and valuable for every member of our team. Afterward, we enjoyed stunning views of Dublin Bay on the Goat Boat Tours, where we even spotted dolphins! We also took a moment to celebrate our team’s growth, as Maria Moreno and Sophie Roden joined us earlier in the summer, and we marked a few birthdays. This day was a great way to recharge ahead of a busy September, when we’ll be hosting entrepreneurs, funders, and leaders from our global network for Endeavor’s 100th International Selection Panel (ISP) in Dublin.

The Endeavor Ireland team recently met with Bobby Healy of Manna Drone Delivery in Blanchardstown to learn about their cutting-edge operations transforming logistics. Manna’s drones take off from a delivery hub, flying at speeds of 60 km/h and heights of 50-65 meters above ground level to customer gardens. The drone then descends to 15 meters to gently lower the package on a tether before returning to the hub, delivering even delicate products like fresh eggs with ease. A single Manna employee operating multiple drones can handle nearly 20 deliveries per hour—10 times what traditional road-based delivery can achieve. Founded in 2018, Manna Drone Delivery is revolutionizing food delivery by reducing times, decreasing road traffic, and minimizing environmental impact. Endeavor company Cubic Telecom plays a crucial role by providing its Application & Connectivity Enablement (PACE), which gives Manna’s fleet of drones a standardized connected software solution with Over-The-Air (OTA) provisioning and updates. We are thrilled by the ingenuity of Manna Drone Delivery operations and look forward to seeing how their technology will shape the future of delivery services, putting Ireland on the global stage for drones.
