🌱 Join us in welcoming rodney doyle, Managing Director, Energy Transition at KPMG Ireland, for "Delivering on the energy transition" Recent research from KPMG shows that people in Ireland are broadly committed to change and support large-scale energy infrastructure and renewable energy projects once they benefit local communities and create jobs. However, to secure Ireland’s energy future and achieve energy independence, we need a compelling vision for what this will mean for people, their communities and future job prospects. Prior to his current role, Rodney was COO of EirGrid where he had responsibility for the operation of the electricity grid, Interconnectors and markets. He worked closely with all types of producers and consumers of energy in order to manage the grid and help the delivery of Irelands renewable targets. Rodney has been at the cold face of delivery across every type of generation technology and system. He has worked in the energy and utilities industry for over 20 years and has worked in Ireland ,the UK, Europe and beyond. Rodney has extensive experience in system operations offshore and onshore, IT/OT system implementation, regulation, asset delivery and markets. 📝 View the Energy Transition Summit agenda in full ➡️ https://loom.ly/zYuyonU Secure your spot ➡️ https://loom.ly/PHSf6yY #EnergySummit24 #EnergyTransition
