👋 This Autumn, galvanizing companies across Ireland and the UK will host the Industry Open Day, offering a unique glimpse into the fascinating process of hot dip galvanizing. 📌 On Thursday, September 2️⃣ 6️⃣ th, Galco's Dublin, Cork, and Waterford facilities will open their doors to the public. We invite engineers and architects to join us for free CPD-accredited plant tours and presentations, with certificates awarded to all participants. Benefits of the CPD-approved plant tour: ✅ See the galvanizing baths and watch how the steel is dipped into zinc in order to protect it from the elements to prolong its life. ✅ See our in-house paint facility at our Dublin plant, where we apply Galvacoat and Intumescent paint directly to freshly galvanized steel. ✅ Meet our team members and ask any questions you have about galvanizing. ✅ Our technical teams will also be on hand to offer advice about designing steel for galvanizing. ☕️ Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. 🚗 Limited on-site parking is available. 👷🏻 PPE will be supplied.
