Following our recent recognition with the 'Standards Innovation Award' from the National Standards Authority of Ireland and our successful audit under Qualified AM GmbH, we are excited to explore the I.S. EN ISO/ASTM 52939:2023 standard in more detail. The standard, published by the NSAI in December 2023, establishes comprehensive quality assurance requirements for additive construction. HTL.tech has successfully applied this cutting-edge standard to Ireland’s first 3D Construction-Printed housing scheme at Grange Close, Dundalk, Co. Louth, classified under Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) Category 4 Additive Construction (AC). This achievement demonstrates our commitment to pioneering innovation in the construction industry while maintaining the highest regulatory standards. #standards4all #additiveconstruction #3dcp #qualityassurance #3dprinting #concrete

HTL.tech’s 3D Construction Housing Project Awarded NSAI ‘Standards Innovation Award’ We are proud to announce that HTL.tech has been honoured with the National Standards Authority of Ireland ‘Standards Innovation Award’ for the application of the I.S. EN ISO/ASTM 52939:2023 standard in our housing project at Grange Close, Dundalk, Co. Louth. This European Standard, published by the NSAI in late 2023, sets the benchmark for delivering high-quality 3D construction printing (3DCP) / Additive Construction (AC) projects and is a true game-changer for the sector. Starting the print phase onsite in June 2024, and through the application of rigorous AC protocols, HTL.tech proudly achieved a Certificate of Conformity from Qualified AM GmbH, making us the first in Europe to do so. We look forward to handing over the completed project to three families on Louth’s Housing list in November 2024. This achievement was made possible through the incredible collaboration with Louth County Council, Roadstone Ltd., and Louth & Meath ETB. Utilising COBOD International 3DCP technology, we will continue to work to demonstrate how AC can produce regulatory-compliant, high-quality structures and help contribute to the delivery of much needed housing.
