The official contract signing for the refurbishment of the iconic Campanile Tower in Trinity College took place recently. Murcom were the successful tenderer for this project where we will be refurbishing all existing metalwork, stonework, leadwork and we will also tasked with the automation of the bells located inside the tower. We are delighted to have been entrusted by one of our valued repeat clients TCD, in the restoration of this famous Dublin landmark. PROJECT COMPLETION Murcom recently completed the full refurbishment and fitout of a 4500 Sq. ft laboratory for one of our longstanding clients. The complex M&E requirements and bespoke fitted lab furniture was challenging throughout but we were delighted to hand over the lab in time for the new academic year. #construction #fitout Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) McCauley Daye O'Connell Architects Buildcost Sean Ascough

As we celebrate National Heritage week, we at Murcom continue to build upon our portfolio of important conservation and restoration projects. We have recently signed contracts on the restoration of the iconic TCD Campanile tower which we are extremely excited to be the Main Contractor on. We're also in the middle of the refurbishment and restoration of the Grangegorman Military Cemetry Gate Lodge Cottage on the edge of The Phoenix Park, which will again become a dwelling after decades of being derelict. It's a privilege to be trusted by our clients to conserve, preserve and restore these special and iconic heritage gems for locals and tourists alike. #nationalheritageweek #conservation #restoration #irishheritage Trinity College Dublin Office of Public Works

Great work by all our crew on the fitout & refurbishment works of the Belvedere College Pastoral Centre on Great Denmark Street. Prior to the fitout works commencing, the existing floor had to be excavated and removed, and then reinstated in full to bring the finished floor upto to the correct level and also to bring it upto current regs. This was a monumental effort from the team as it all had to happen over the 2 week Easter Holidays when the school was on shutdown. The coming weeks will see us subdivide the space with 5m high walls, the installation of a Glulam structure all with the goal of creating a brand new pastoral centre for the Belvedere SJ school community.

We were delighted to have recently completed a project in The Hermitage Clinic for Blackrock Health where we were the Main Contractor on the replacement of the Linear Accelerator (Linac) system. This remarkable piece of equipment will give more patients the benefit of high-precision and personalized treatments. Our works required us to facilitate the strip-out of the existing Linac unit, strip the space back to allow for full new M&E installations, fit out the space with new floor, ceiling & wall finishes along with the co-ordination and management of the Linac install. We are continually growing our portfolio of Healthcare and Medical projects and are thrilled to have successfully handed over this project on time and under budget.
