The World Heart Federation are calling for – Cardiovascular Plans to Save Lives – Taking care of your heart health should be a priority. Did you know? - The heart is about the size of an adult fist - It is the strongest muscle in the body - Your heart beats about 100,000 times a day This hard-working essential muscle needs to be taken care of and respected. We were delighted to be able to make a donation of a Defibtech Lifeline VIEW ECG model defibrillator to the Irish Heart Foundation at the recent Respond conference. The donation is in recognition of the pivotal role that The Irish Heart Foundation play in saving lives from Sudden Cardiac Arrest in Ireland through the organisation’s training and awareness programmes. Today is World Patient Safety Day. The World Health Organization theme of - Improving diagnosis for patient safety - calls for concerted efforts to significantly reduce diagnostic errors through multifaceted interventions rooted in systems thinking.
