They used Bord Bia Bloom to create an experience for the audience that allowed customers to connect with Citroën’s commitment to comfort and sustainability in a way that no digital ad could achieve. 🔋🌞Certa is a young brand, the coming together of legacy providers, so their sponsorship portfolio helped them connect consumers to their renewable energy solutions. At Bloom they were able to connect with eco-conscious consumers who were already primed to engage in conversations around sustainable energy. Both brands demonstrated how sponsorship can amplify core values while creating an authentic consumer experience. The episode also delves into the data side of sponsorship 📊and measuring ROI on sponsorships Sponsorships, when executed strategically and activated well, can move beyond the bounds of traditional advertising to become a powerful, versatile tool in any brand’s marketing mix 👩🏻🍳 . For Mark, this freedom allowed him to push boundaries, creating some of his most impactful work. If you’ve ever felt creatively constrained, Mark’s experience proves that the right project at the right time can unlock your full potential. 🎯 Learn more about how creative freedom shaped Mark’s career in the latest episode of That’s What I Call Marketing. Thanks for sharing the Going for Gold episode Gavin. And 100% agree, sponsorships are not a fix all.
“Fans want to be fans, not consumers. They want to be connected, not collected”. Entertained and inspired rather than sold to. This quote sat with me this week as we review and plan forward with our marcomms team. Last week the Marketing Institute Ireland members cited PTSB as the winners this summer in the sports sponsorship space. The team having led with Team Ireland Athletes, creating emotional connections with ‘their promise of Altogether More Human’ https://lnkd.in/enzTG3ND Perceived value and recognition 👏 by Irelands best marketeers. Leading the more established partners of GAA, Rugby and Soccer. Great to see. An interesting listen from before the Games if you have time - from Conor Byrne That's What I Call Marketing Podcast with Philip Greene and Mary McGuire -discussing business challenges and sponsorship strategies. A key point here is that sports sponsorships are part of a marketing mix - they aren’t everything, a fix all - but they will give huge value at the top of the funnel in terms of awareness and consideration if the planning and creative is right …. And when it is, fans get connected 🥇 https://lnkd.in/eg2qiPnH
