When Ireland RepTrak first began measuring the reputations of Ireland's top 100 organisations, just two Irish organisations – The Irish Times and the National Lottery - took top ten places. This was repeated in 2011 with just An Post and Smyths Toys featuring in the top ten. Now, over ten years later, we're seeing a change. By 2023, five of the top 10 organisations were Irish, and if you look carefully at the five international organisations completing the list, two of these - Aldi and Lidl - have embedded themselves firmly in the Irish community over the years, gaining market share, trust, and reputation, and they are highly regarded as good corporate citizens. Contact us today at info@thereputationsagency.ie to understand how your organisation’s reputation can improve.

Ireland’s SMEs face digital readiness challenges, according to Ireland’s Digital Readiness Monitor published by .ie, the national domain registry. Analysing the level of digital sophistication of websites in Ireland, .ie’s latest report reveals that more than a third of websites have low to very-low levels of sophistication despite various Government grants and programmes to support digital advancement. One in four websites (27%) have a high or very high level of sophistication, showing there is considerable room for improvement. Websites and associated technologies are a proxy for an organisation’s degree of digitalisation, so this statistic demonstrates that SMEs’ websites are underdeveloped.
