As we all know there is a lot to do to tackle the issue of Climate change - but none of us can do it on our own- we need to work together on this' Investnet Caoimhe de Barra #sustainability #healthcare #climate

CEO Trócaire and President of CIDSE. Passionate about Human Rights | Climate and Environmental Justice | Gender Equality | Humanitarianism | Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
This afternoon I had the privilege of presenting to the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs of Dáil Éireann on the appalling conflict and humanitarian crisis in Sudan, along with David Regan, CEO of Concern Worldwide, Siobhan Walsh, CEO of GOAL Global, and Jane-Ann McKenna, CEO of Dóchas. Thank you to Cathaoirleach Charles Flanagan, Committee members and other members of the Dáil, including Leo Varadkar, for your deep interest in this crisis and in listening to our recommendations for what the Irish government can do. We should never take our open, accessible democracy for granted, nor should we ever be slow to use it to help create a more just world. Trócaire
