🚧 We are delighted to be delivering Ireland’s largest road infrastructure project: the N5 Ballaghaderreen to Scramoge Road Scheme! This 33.4 km Type 1 Single Carriageway is the most significant in Wills Bros' history. It bypasses Frenchpark and Strokestown, enhancing road safety, travel efficiency, and supporting local economies. In total, the N5 covers 135 km, and once completed, we’ll have been responsible for over 100 km of it. While not the lead contractor on all sections, we also provided plant hire for parts of the Swinford and Turlough sections. Project highlights: - 5 million cubic metres of earthworks - 33.4 km of National Primary Road - Four river bridges and 9 farm underpasses Sustainability at the core: hybrid and electric vehicles, excavators, a (150 kW) solar panel array, and efficient material use. It's been a productive day for the team at our Motherwell Office. Today to mark World Mental Health Day, we came together to enjoy a day filled with positivity and connection. The team gathered for a mid-day Pizza and chat session and experienced some laughter yoga. Throughout the day we shared uplifting messages in our positivity jar which helped everyone take a moment to reflect on the good things in their day. In addition to promoting mental wellness, our HR and Recruitment Manager, Kelly Brown (Assoc CIPD) organised a live stream CPR session hosted by the Resuscitation Council UK. By participating in this, our team contributed to the goal of increasing the number people trained in CPR which means more lives can be saved from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests. This year, the Resuscitation Council UK is aiming to set a new Guinness World Record for the most views of a CPR session on YouTube on October 10th. You, too, can be part of this life-saving initiative by learning CPR and helping to set a world record. Find out more here: https://lnkd.in/ermm7j4q Thank you to all who took part in the day and a special thanks to Lorraine Crozier and Laura Timoney who beautifully demonstrated their CPR skills! #WorldMentalHealthDay #TeamWellbeing #SaveALife #SpreadPositivity #CPRTraining
