Abed, a father in #Lebanon, talks about his journey from home to a shelter. His only wish is for his children to survive. Abed's story reflects the experiences of nearly a million others who have fled their homes in search of safety. Thousands of families in Lebanon have been forced to flee their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs, seeking safety and shelter amidst relentless violence. The Irish Emergency Alliance, through our member organisations and their partners, is on the ground providing urgent support—food, shelter, and basic necessities. But we need your help to reach more families like his. Conflict is escalating in southern Lebanon at such a rate that, for some, it is too dangerous to find a safe time or the means to flee. As families endure life in a conflict zone, they rely on support from people like you to help meet their basic needs. Please donate to our Irish Emergency Alliance appeal today, and help us save lives.
🔴 Violence is spreading throughout Lebanon, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Displaced families are seeking refuge in crowded collective shelters and children's education is suffering due to school closures in the affected areas. Our colleagues and humanitarian partners on the ground need your support to bring life-saving assistance to Lebanese and refugee families in need. 👉 Time is running out—without your help, more lives will be lost. Please donate now to provide these life-saving supplies: https://lnkd.in/g5-dy22Q ActionAid Ireland ChristianAid Ireland Plan International Ireland Tearfund Ireland Trócaire World Vision Ireland
