Over the past 24 hours, Hezbollah claimed responsibility for 5 attacks against Israel using high-trajectory fire, anti-tank missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.  2. Additionally, this morning (July 25), two UAVs were intercepted after infiltrating into Israeli territory (around Bar'am and the maritime zone of Nahariya), and anti-tank missiles were fired toward the community of Manara and caused fire. On July 1st, 2024 the Iranian regime held an event in Teheran in support of the Palestinians. The commander of the IRGC aerospace force, Amir Ali Haji Zadeh, was a keynote speaker. During his speech, he spoke of Iran's support for the Palestinians while also commemorating previous Iranian attacks against American and Israeli positions and promising future, larger ones. A day later, all IRGC affiliated news networks took an unusual step by deleting many parts of the speech. The elimination of a unit commander in the military wing of #Hamas-#Lebanon (which also includes the military wing of the Jama'ah al-Islamiyah) shows, among other things, the current cooperation with Hezbollah in activities against Israel. Despite this cooperation, there is an inherent tension between Hezbollah and Hamas in Lebanon. Lebanon's Hamas is a threat to Hezbollah from within Lebanon. Today Hezbollah uses Lebanon's Hamas. On the basis of cost versus benefit, #Hezbollah will strive in the future to greatly limit the power of Hamas-Lebanon and even to dismantle it. https://lnkd.in/dN3vvEgB

This week has seen a substantial increase in Hezbollah rocket firing reaching distances of more than 5 kilometers and targeting communities that have not been evacuated. #Hezbollah is taking a calculated risk. The intensity of its retaliation intensifies the possibility of escalation, and it appears that Hezbollah is exhibiting self-confidence, at least in terms of its efforts to broaden the range and targets of the rocket firing. https://lnkd.in/dzMCkHfG

To effectively combat #Hezbollah in Lebanon, it is crucial to not only target the organization itself but also to act against the civilian infrastructure that supports and enables Hezbollah. This includes specifically focusing on identifying and neutralizing Hezbollah operatives who are accountable for and associated with these civilian organizations.
