כנס Biomed Israel 2024 ייערך בסוף מאי בתל אביב למעלה מ-100 חברות יציגו את הפתרונות והטכנולוגיות שפיתחו ויספקו הזדמנות ייחודית לאלפי המבקרים להתעדכן בחדשנות בתחומי הביומד והטכנולוגיות הבריאות כנס Biomed Israel 2024, אירוע מדעי החיים וטכנולוגיות הבריאות הבינלאומי המוביל של ישראל, יתקיים בחודש הבא (21-23 במאי), במלון דיויד אינטרקונטיננטל בתל אביב. בכנס צפויים להשתתף מנהלים בכירים מהתעשייה, מדענים, רופאים ומשקיעים. בדומה לשנים קודמות, למעלה מ-100 חברות ישראליות מתחום מדעי החיים, הן סטארט אפים והן חברות ותיקות יותר, יציגו את הפתרונות והטכנולוגיות שפיתחו ויספקו הזדמנות ייחודית לאלפי מבקרים הנמנים על קהילת מדעי החיים וטכנולוגיות הבריאות להתעדכן בחידושים בענפי מדעי החיים וההלת'טק. הכנס, שמתקיים זו השנה ה-22 ברציפות, הוא זירת המפגש הגדולה ביותר עבור אנשי מקצוע בתחומי הבריאות בישראל עם הקולגות שלהם שמגיעים מחו"ל, המתכנסים יחד לשלושה ימים של נטוורקינג אינטנסיבי עבור הזדמנויות עסקיות וקידום שיתופי פעולה. הכנס יכלול מגוון רחב של הרצאות ומושבים שיעסקו במגמות ובפריצות הדרך העדכניות ביותר בכל קשת התחומים במדעי החיים, ובכללם ביו-פארמה, מכשור רפואי, בריאות דיגיטלית ודיאגנוסטיקה. בין היתר, המושבים יעסקו השנה בבריאות האישה, אשפוז ביתי, ההשפעה של AI על גילוי תרופות ופיתוחים קליניים, הזדקנות בריאה והדור הבא של רפואה גנטית. נושאים נוספים שיידונו בכנס יהיו חדשנות בתחום בריאות המוח, מחלות קרדיו-וסקולריות, ביומרקרים דיגיטליים, ביופסיה ודיאגנוסטיקה נוזליים, ענף המכשור הרפואי, טכנולוגיות תזונה, טיפולים בסרטן, התחום הקרדיו-מטבולי, תרומת ישראל למדע ולטכנולוגיה בענף וחידושים ב-bio-convergence. היו"רים המשותפים של הכנס הם רותי אלון, מייסדת ומנכ"לית חברת Medstrada, ד"ר (PhD) אורה דר, מומחית בכירה למדעי הרפואה וחדשנות רפואית וד"ר (MD, PhD) ניסים דרוויש, מנכ"ל קרן Eliraz Ventures. תחת הנהלתם המשותפת הכנס יציג ויבחן את החדשנות והמגמות המעצבות את עתיד מערכות הבריאות ומדעי החיים. רותי אלון, יו"ר משותפת של כנס Biomed Israel 2024: "בימים של אי-ודאות, הנחישות שלנו לשתף פעולה ולנסות לספק מענה לצרכים שלא מקבלים תשובה בתחום הבריאות בעולם מהווה לפיד של תקווה והופכת לכוח הגדול ביותר שלנו. היעד הראשון והחשוב ביותר של ביומד ישראל הוא לעודד שיתופי הפעולה בין תעשיות מדעי החיים הישראלית והגלובלית. מנהלים בכירים ומשלחות של חברות רב לאומיות, חברות פארמה ומכשור רפואי, ענקיות טכנולוגיה ומשקיעים המתמחים בתעשיית הבריאות מגיעים לישראל מדי שנה בחודש מאי למסע חיפושים של חדשנות, פתרונות יצירתיים, מוצרים וטכנולוגיות". אלון הוסיפה: "בכנס תציג ישראל את המיטב שיש לה להציע במגוון תחומים שעולים בקנה אחד עם מגמות עכשוויות המעוררות עניין בקרב תעשיית מדעי החיים העולמית. מומחים יעסקו בדיונים ובהרצאות מעוררי מחשבה על קשת רחבה של נושאים, החל ממודלים ביולוגיים של מחלות ועד לכמויות האדירות של נתונים זמינים שיש לטפל בהם ולנתח אותם בכדי להפכם לידע. כל זאת, לצד דיונים בנוגע לאיכות החיים בעולם ולעלות ההולכת וגדלה של שירותים רפואיים. בין אם מדובר במחלות כרוניות, לקויות קוגניטיביות או שיבושים במערכות הקרדיו-וסקולריות והמטבוליות, בכנס נתבונן לעומק בהשפעות ההדדיות בין מתווים שונים והתערבויות טיפוליות שונות שמטרתם לטפל באתגרים אלה, הן במישור המניעתי והן במישור הטיפולי". קרדיט: מערכת וואלה טכנולוגיה
