We are actively expanding cooperation in the Czech Republic. It was a pleasure to meet with representatives of Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) and Centre for Regional Development of the Czech Republic. Partnership and mutual opportunities were "on the table". Enterprise Europe Network is the largest global consulting network especially for SMEs, while Regional Development of the Czech Republic supports regional development. It was founded at the end of 1996 with the main purpose to support the regional policy of the Government to be implemented through European funds.

Credit rating agency S&P Global Ratings has revised Austria's outlook to positive from stable, citing the country's improving energy supply position and solid budgetary situation. "The positive outlook reflects the potential that Austria's energy supply position improves further while its economy remains robust over the next 24 months," S&P said. https://lnkd.in/dMA_RKgM

Poland’s economy has made remarkable progress over a relatively short period. The European nation’s GDP reached $1.39 trillion in 2023, climbing 40 per cent in the 20 years since it joined the European Union (EU). American and German firms made for the largest share of foreign direct investment (FDI) in Poland in 2023, according to a report published on Monday. The latest EY Europe Attractiveness Survey shows that last year Europe experienced its first decline in FDI in years, as the number of projects dropped by 4% year-on-year, and the number of new jobs created fell by 7% year-on-year. However, the report shows that in 2023, Poland performed better compared to other European countries. https://lnkd.in/dhN_dizh

Czechia’s gross domestic product (GDP), seasonally adjusted, increased by 0.4% year-on-year and by 0.3% quarter-on-quarter. The figure was below market expectations and also below the Czech National Bank forecast of 0.7% y/y. Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) published the figures confirming weak growth as some segments of Czechia’s economy signalled an uptick in domestic demand, including renewed growth in retail trade registered in the spring months. https://lnkd.in/dB7rwt_h

The new information systems were launched on 1 July 2024 in the Czech Republic in connection with the new Czech Building Act (NBA). The building authorities, various experts and also some of the builders criticise the functioning of the information system. In conclusion, experts point out that all proceedings initiated under the Building Code of the NBA, the deadlines for issuing decisions under the NBA are doubled, at least. More info here: https://lnkd.in/dMdAVEj7
