Today Denmark's ambassador to 🇮🇱 and the members of the Danish Innovation Centre are exploring the Negev and a small bit of what it has to offer to the world. Ambassador Thomas Winkler held the Keynote speech at the FoodSec plenary which was part of the 52nd annual conference for Science and Environment at The BGU. The ambassador spoke about the Danish government’s groundbreaking commitment to sustainable agriculture practices and possible cooperation with Israel. Denmarks policy leadership and Israel’s unmatched Innovation capability and entrepreneurial spirit make our two countries perfect partners in the effort to cut the carbon emissions of today, creating sustainable solutions for tomorrow. We could have told you that the delegation visit of seven VCs from 🇮🇱 to 🇩🇰 last week was a huge success. We could have mentioned the highly interactive and dynamic exchanges between Danish entrepreneurs and Israeli investors. We could have also talked about the valuable networking opportunities this created for Nordic and Israeli investors alike. And yes, that engagement between Danish startups and global capital creates real impact for the Danish ecosystem. Yesterday the Chargé d’affaires Jacob Stensdal and our innovation assistant Mette had the pleasure of attending the #ARCSummit2024 at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer.
