Facilitating partnerships in the World's most innovative country
소개
Innovation Centra Denmark Seoul's mission is to connect Danish innovation to international partners and is a partnership between the Ministry of Higher Education and Science and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. With 7 centers across the world, we provide insights into research, science, technology, new business models, commercial innovation, and access to key stakeholders abroad. Innovation Centre Denmark in Seoul gives Danish companies, researchers, and students access to the world's most innovative country. South Korea is the 10th largest economy in the world and is a powerhouse of research and innovation, investing more in R&D than any other country, amounting to 3.9 percent of GDP in 2019. Last year alone, it spent almost US$83 billion on research and development, making it the fifth-largest spender among members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). This creates great potential for synergy between Danish and Korean authorities, cities, startups, research institutions, and companies, especially within areas where Denmark is also a strong contender – for example, energy storage, water and waste technology, AI, VR, robotics technology, circular economy in the built environment, and energy efficiency technology. Come visit us in Seoul or learn more at Seoul (icdk.dk).
