This month, Austrade was delighted to support visits to key Indian space players for the Australian industry delegation to Benglauru Space Expo 2024 this month. Site visits to Bellatrix Aerospace and Astrogate Labs provided a glimpse into India's thriving space ecosystem. Bellatrix Aerospace: Revolutionising In-Space Mobility We witnessed live demos of satellite propulsion firing, explored cutting-edge office spaces and discussed collaboration opportunities with Yashas Karanam (Co-founder) and Amrut Y. (AVP) at Bellatrix Aerospace. Bellatrix is pushing boundaries in electric propulsion, green propulsion and orbital transfer vehicles. Astrogate Labs: Transforming Space Communications Nitish Singh (CEO) and Subhajit Chakraborty (Head – Business Development) shared insights into Astrogate's laser communication solutions, designed for harsh space conditions. We saw live demos of secure, long-distance wireless communications for small satellites. We aim to bridge connections for Australia and India's commercial space industries.
