At the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Padmaja A R, Executive Vice-President, BGSW & CTO, Bosch Mobility India, joined an insightful panel discussion organized by PwC and nasscom which focused on the role of #CyberSecurity in the evolving mobility ecosystem supply chain. The panel featured experts from OEMs, certification bodies, and cybersecurity technology and explored the implication of the upcoming cybersecurity regulations for connected vehicles, the impact on product lifecycle, and transformation of roles in the value chain. Some key aspects that Padmaja emphasized on were - 🔏 The need to address cybersecurity from the design phase, where vulnerabilities often arise due to legacy software in increasingly open, multi-partner systems. 🚀 GCCs - Delivering Innovation from India! 🚀 Dattatri Salagame, CEO & MD, Bosch Global Software Technologies recently spoke at the Umagine TN Technology Conference, a Government of Tamil Nadu initiative, where he shared insights on the role of Global Capability Centers (GCCs) as the next key value driver in the technology landscape in India. Datta highlighted Bosch's trailblazing presence in India’s GCC ecosystem over the last three decades as a standout example of GCC’s value contribution to global innovation. He outlined the three distinct phases of Bosch Global Software Technologies evolution as a GCC: From demonstrating India’s ability to handle complex projects in its first decade, to scaling operations in the second, and driving innovation-led value for global markets in the third. Datta also dispelled the doubts on availability of talent in India, emphasizing that the country’s robust talent ecosystem is an opportunity and key driver of innovation. He emphasized the importance of initiatives that accelerate contextual learning, enabling talent to acquire the right domain knowledge and cultural adaptability necessary to contribute meaningfully in a global context. In context of Tamil Nadu’s tech ecosystem, he shared how BGSW’s Coimbatore center , one of the city's earliest operations, has evolved into a powerhouse with nearly 10,000 associates. This center has become a hub for advanced engineering projects, further solidifying Coimbatore’s role as a value-led innovation nucleus. Fostering research to deliver meaningful societal impact 🌏✨ We are thrilled to be recognised at the IIT Madras CSR Awards & Summit 2024 – Viksit Bharat 2047. Our CSR efforts were celebrated with the ‘Excellence in Collaborative Innovation Award’ for the Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence, which was established in 2017 and supported up till 2022 by BGSW. The center is driven by a vision to achieve global prominence in the areas of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence research while creating high-quality researchers and intellectual properties that can deliver significant societal impact.
