Every passion has a beginning. Mine began as a student who fell in love with math & learning. I consider myself fortunate — both my parents were university professors, which meant I grew up surrounded by knowledge, spending hours in libraries and around the best books. The amazing teachers I had in my life, from my parents to the ones I encountered along the way, all played a huge role in shaping who I am today. But not every child gets these opportunities, and I’ve always wanted to change that. When I started Cuemath, it wasn’t just about teaching math; it was about giving every child the chance to feel empowered, confident, and capable, just like I did. Over the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of a community of tutors who have embraced this mission with passion and dedication. I’m not just grateful for their support — I’m in awe of their commitment, and I’ve fallen in love with the way they transform lives every day. As someone who has walked the path of self-discovery, overcoming challenges, and breaking free from limitations, I know firsthand how life-changing the right support can be. I always dreamed of achieving something but then life happened - marriage, kids etc. and I left my dreams behind. But when I became a Cuemath tutor, I found not only a career but a purpose. Today, I have an impactful job and most importantly, a sense of independence that was once just a dream. This is what drives me every single day—to support, nurture, and empower our incredible tutor community. No matter how much effort his parents and teachers put in, he showed little interest in learning. His parents were growing increasingly worried And at this point of time his mother, my gym instructor, so technically my teacher, enrolled her son with me😉so now i was her son’s teacher.. Instead of forcing traditional methods of learning, I tailored my approach, making math more relatable and fun. At first, the progress was slow, but little by little, he started showing signs of improvement. I could see the spark of understanding in his eyes when he finally grasped difficult concepts. I praised his every effort, no matter how small, and slowly, he began to believe in his own abilities. One day, his school teacher called his mother and said something that brought tears to her eyes. The teacher said, "Your son is an asset to our class. Not only is he performing exceptionally well, but he's also helping other students with math." The boy who once resisted studying had transformed into a leader in his classroom Seeing his success and knowing that I had played a role in unlocking his potential was one of the most rewarding moments of my teaching experience #whyITeach #ProudCuemathTeacher

"If your student can act all happy, naughty and weird in your class, take it as a sign that he/she is super comfortable" Let me take you to the practical example of this. At Cuemath, we do a lot of pilot programs to understand the needs of our students in a better way and deliver the best possible services for the development of a student. One of my pilot program students, G, was all shy and not so comfortable with math when we started with our summer program. She was in grade 3 and initially, I was a little sceptical because she didn't interact much. How will she come up with questions if she is not comfortable and when would I know if she is comfortable? Ah! so many questions! I tried my best and used Cuemath's all interactive strategies to make her feel better. And, one day the magic happened ✨ She started laughing and making faces while working and initiated the teacher-student role play ( we will talk about this in any other post). I was surprised yet super happy. She started logging in on time and shared everything that she was planning for her day. That's the time where I realised that we cracked the law of interaction and comfort in the class. Her learning graph went up exponentially and she learned fractions, decimals and what not!! That's the magic of 'Comfort' 🩷 P.S.
