Exciting New Partnership Announcement! We are delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Department of District Social Welfare, Giridih, Jharkhand, and Dost Learning Foundation, on 7th October 2024, in collaboration with Niti Aayog. This partnership aims to empower Anganwadi workers by providing them with the tools and knowledge to raise awareness about the critical importance of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) among caregivers and parents. Through the implementation of Dost's flagship ‘Programme Parvarish’, we will support over 222 Anganwadi centers in Jamua, Giridih. This initiative will offer both digital and on-ground support to enhance responsive caregiving, equipping families with the resources they need to integrate these practices into their homes. Together, we are committed to fostering a nurturing environment for young children, ensuring a brighter future for all. At the launch of the brief, Sidsel Marie Kristensen, CEO of The LEGO Foundation, stated: "80% of brain development happens early. We need to develop children's holistic well-being. Work with governments, the private sector, and partners like UNICEF to raise awareness of these issues." Come and listen to me present on behalf of Dost Education at the 2024 mEducation Alliance Symposium, STEMtastic Adventures! taking place from October 1-3rd in Arlington, Virginia. I’ll be one of the 100+ presenters at the mEducation Alliance’s 14th annual Symposium. This year’s theme is STEMtastic Adventures! and presentations will be featured across a variety of sub-themes ranging from STEM and foundational literacy to digital literacy to STEM education and AI to climate education. This is the second ever STEM education focused event that includes representatives from both high and low-income countries.  The mEducation Alliance hosted the first STEM education event last year with over 100+ presentations and  representatives from over 40+ countries attending, and expects similar interest for this year’s event. The mEducation Alliance is the largest convening platform of development and donor agencies focused on technology for education, particularly in low-resource countries. Their annual Symposia attracts policymakers, donors, many implementing partners in education, and researchers from around the world, who come together to connect and learn from one another.
