Here's a quick overview of the key points: 𝟭. 𝗢𝗯𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀: Promote battery swapping as an alternative method for EV power. Encourage the #Battery_as_a_Service (BaaS) model. Develop a robust battery swapping ecosystem. 𝟮. 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀: Battery Swapping: A quick method to replace a discharged battery with a charged one. #Battery_Charging_Station (BCS): Facility to recharge swappable batteries. #Battery_Swapping_Station (BSS): Facility to both recharge and swap batteries. #Battery_to_Grid (B2G): Swappable batteries can supply power back to the grid. 𝟯. 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Owners can use existing electricity connections for charging. Liquid-cooled swappable batteries may be used for larger vehicles like trucks and buses. These new guidelines are a positive move towards making electric vehicles easier to use and more efficient. Battery swapping will reduce the time EVs are out of use, making them more practical for daily use. The Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model can help reduce the high initial cost of EV batteries and support the use of clean energy with B2G systems. Overall, these steps point to a greener and more sustainable future for transportation in India. 🌱🔌 Source: 𝐡𝐭𝐭𝐩𝐬://𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧.𝐠𝐨𝐯.𝐢𝐧/𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬/𝐝𝐞𝐟𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐭/𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬/𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦/𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬/𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲_𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠_𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬.𝐏𝐃𝐅 Content by: Aakash Shukla, Raj Patel - M.
