Key among the insights that went into creating the Women CXO Program was that women leaders aren't actively building their personal brands and telling their stories! This is damaging for all senior leaders but certainly women who often navigate so many perceptions. We added a Thrive Cast, a personal brand asset, to ensure that the women leaders left the program with an authentic, timeless story to share with their peers and clients, within and outside their company. It took us a lot of effort to coax many of them out of their shell and into our studios - but it was worth every moment. Not too long ago, one of my marketing teams presented their findings on a successful, long-running learning program. Surprisingly, despite the presence of experts, they failed to see beyond the data. Their proposal was to shrink the marketing budget due to our success. My counterpoint: Why not invest more when we're gaining more traction? Data had shown improved conversion ratios and reduced per-lead costs, making the team believe we could reach our goals with a smaller budget. However, the real revelation was that we could surpass our enrolment targets with the same budget, and by increasing it slightly, even more.
