The VC Fellowship

There are certain pockets that have been created and one of those is Bangalore. Yesterday our fellows based in bangalore did a meetup organised by Mohnish Jaiswal from Cohort 2. We encourage our fellows to meet each other regardless of the cohort they are part of, we were delighted to see fellows from all the three cohorts come together in bangalore. We are done with first 2 weeks of the fellowship and memories that the fellows are making are ones in a lifetime thing. We encourage everyone to participate more, meet with each other and get along. Sharing few moments of joy that we captured throughout those two weeks.

It’s not a rare thing to receive applications from undergraduates for a fellowship like ours. But it’s not an everyday event when we speak to applicants like Bhavjot. Bhavjot’s interview was taken by Ayush Srivastava and post interview he had a one page doc on what he liked about Bhavjot’s candidacy and why we should take him. We are thrilled to announce an exclusive session on “Building an Investment Thesis” for Cohort 3 VC Fellows led by Karthik Prabhakar, Managing Partner at PeerCapital Karthik has a rich background in Venture Capital, with extensive experience in leading multi million dollar investments & exit deals with his previous fund. His insights and guidance would be invaluable for future VCs in building an Investment Thesis. This is just the beginning, Karthik will continue to support the VC Fellows through these sessions. Cohort 3 was a big success! We received applications for 5+ countries (total of 989) however considering we are very selective about the kind of people we’d want to join, we could only shortlist 31. If you submitted your applications and haven’t heard back from us, then most probably we did not liked your “Why?” - hence we could not take it forward.
