Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide, affecting approximately 2.3 million women each year. About 85% of breast cancer cases occur in women with no family history of the disease. And with one in 50 woman dying every 50 seconds worldwide, breast cancer becomes even more daunting. We’re sending a huge shoutout to those heroes who work tirelessly to provide compassionate, holistic care to the survivors. They’re the backbone of this fight, going above and beyond to save lives. 🙌 This month, we encourage everyone—medicos and non-medicos alike—to get informed! Conduct self-checks and learn the signs of breast cancer. Remember, 23% of breast cancer cases are preventable! So let’s band together and kick cancer to the curb. Together, we can make a difference! 💪💜
