    I’ve been training SDRs every week for a year continuously, and here are my 3 biggest takeaways: 💡 1. In a world where continuous learning is mandatory for sustained performance, having a weekly training program truly sets up a schedule for continuous learning. It makes the job just a little bit easier for SDRs. 2. When you show them you care, they start to care more. Consequently, they look forward to trainings, practice their pitches, look for new ideas to share during training, and try to do better overall. Everyone wins. 3. Yes, Gen Z gets many things wrong, but Gen X got many things wrong too, as did the millennials. I still find committed, intelligent and hard working people amongst the GenZs. You have to find them and give those people that align with you the right blueprint for growth and success. Difficult, but not impossible. Do you have a continuous training program for your reps? If you’re not showing up and building credibility, you’re missing out on one of the most organic ways to grow. 2️⃣ Outbound – Cold outreach isn’t dead.     Great sellers all have one thing in common. They make everything about the customer 💯 Here’s what that looks like: 📍 The demo is about the customer. So it focuses only on the features /use cases important to the client, not all the cool stuff or the stuff that the seller knows best. 📍 Next steps? Make it easy. Somehow grabbing the next meeting isn’t important. Anyone will agree to that. A great seller understands exactly what will drive the prospect, so their next steps are clearly defined to make it easy for the customer. Bonus: When you do this, the customer will actually show up to that meeting. 📍 Pressure to close: It’s the end of the month, so you need to close. We all get that. But only a truly terrible seller will tell the customer that.  A good seller knows how to shift the focus: “Since you mentioned getting this up and running ASAP, let’s close now so you can take advantage of the end-of-quarter discount. This will reduce your price by 10%.” Every step of the way, keep the customer front and centre of every activity - that’s the only way to be a good seller. The bonus?     I am a strong proponent of employee engagement not being just about conducting events, fun times, festival activities, contests, trivia nights, etc. I believe it's more about proactively understanding & acting on how we can enable our people to grow/be better versions of themselves. It's about creating a sense of purpose and belonging 📈 💪 This is right. However, I was foolish (and a bit elitist 🧐 , to be honest) to think that the fun activities don't matter at all. A recent article opened by eyes, and made me remember the extremely important role they play in bringing teams closer together💃 Eyes opened 👀 ! It's been sometime since we had activities at Leadle, focusing on nothing other than just having some fun! We remedied that by having an incredibly great time with our very own Scavenger Hunt last week🔍🪙 It was just pure, unadulterated fun!
