The Economic Times- BrandEquity || Marketing and all things- Community || Ex The Indian Express Group
Had the privilege of attending The BigLeap, a Leadership Dialogue presented by ET BrandEquity and CleverTap at Pullman Aerocity New Delhi on August 22nd. Met the incredible Rimjim Deka and Partha Kakati, showstoppers from Shark Tank India Season 3. Rimjim, being from the Northeast like me, made me feel home away from home instantly - a truly warm connection! Our conversation was truly refreshing - they're the most down-to-earth individuals I've met in a while. Also enjoyed a delightful dinner chat with Joydeep Mukherjee along-side Rimjim, and Partha. Rishi Mehra's, CEO WISHFIN.COM , insight on credit scores was an eye-opener: higher income doesn't always mean better credit score, but the opposite is true for large majority among higher income group. Grateful to have interacted with so many inspiring business leaders including Vipul Gupta Ravi Bilochi and many more. Special thanks to Rahul Binoy for making this event possible and Sonali Bindra for inviting me to be a part of it. Cheers!

Manufacturing in India is a difficult industry to be in yet one of the most accessible industry to choose. When we started Littlebox India we started with outsourced manufacturing. As we started to grow we realised , if done well and planned , India gives us the best platforms to be manufacturing garment. We slowly started with a very small unit of manufacturing with only 10 tailors and rest of our production was still outsourced. We understood the process a bit & then expanded and today we have 200 inhouse machines to do the manufacturing and two third of the manufacturing is done inhouse and rest still outsourced. Manufacturing offers significant advantages such as quality control, ensuring consistent product standards, and improving the bottom line by managing costs effectively. However, it also presents challenges like labor management, resource allocation during festivals, and various operational hurdles. We plan to grow our manufacturing units & we also take immense pride in the opportunity we are able to give to out skilled labours. We are learning everyday only to make it near perfect. And i am extremely thankful to my team for managing one of the most chaotic task of manufacturing . #MakeinIndia #littlebox
