Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF) began its journey in July 1998, with the all-embracing vision of Mrs. Ritu Hinduja Chhabria put into action with the ideological and corpus support of the Late P.P. Chhabria, Founder of the Finolex Group, and Shri. G.P. Hinduja, Chairperson of the Hinduja Group. Completing registration as a trust in 1999. Over the last 25 years, MMF has dedicated itself to empowering the underserved with resources, skills, opportunities, social leverage, infrastructure and counselling - across geographies, gender, age and abilities. Supporting individuals, communities, organisations and rural institutions through initiatives in healthcare, education, food equality, sanitation, environment and disaster relief across all of the 17 sustainable development goals as envisioned by the United Nations. Confident that even the lesser-privileged have the potential to flourish and thrive on their own, all they need is a hand to pull them out of their circumstances. As evident over the years, where many beneficiaries have gone on to contribute to their communities and impact society at large. Ensuring a life of dignity, that's self-sustained and inclusive.

Celebrating Hindi Diwas, the school's Hindi department organized various competitions such as essay writing and collage making, where students showcased their artistic and linguistic prowess to the best of their abilities. We thank the Vice Principal, Mr. Rohit Deshpande, Coordinator of Upper Primary Section, Mr. Pralhad Tendulkar, and Head of Hindi Department, Mr. Ashish Shinde, for organising and leading the celebrations for students from Std 5 to 10. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners! Parallelly, Eid-e-Milad was celebrated with absolute joy and enthusiasm by students, as they welcomed the pious festival with purity in hearts and minds. Mukul Madhav Foundation, the CSR partner of Finolex Industries Ltd, has had a long standing relationship of over 4 years with SEARCH, supporting them at the grassroots level in shaping healthier futures for tribal and vulnerable communities in Maharashtra. Yuva Vikash Kendra Successfully Completes Mushroom Cultivation Training Program in Nalbari Guwahati, Assam, India – September 7, 2024: Yuva Vikash Kendra (YVK), a leading youth organization, in collaboration with Finolex Industries Ltd's CSR partner Mukul Madhav Foundation and FICCI FLO NE Chapter, has successfully concluded a three-day training program on mushroom cultivation in Adattari Village, Barkhetry, Nalbari District of Assam. The program, held from September 5 to 7, 2024, aimed to empower local women and create self-reliant communities through sustainable agricultural practices. A total of 25 local women participated in the intensive training program, which covered various aspects of mushroom cultivation, including selection of suitable varieties, preparation of growing media, spawn inoculation, environmental control, harvesting, and marketing. Expert trainers Mrs. Namita Haloi Baishya, Master Trainer, provided valuable insights and hands-on guidance to the participants. The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of including Mr. Ashwini Deka, Agriculture Assistant from the Department of Agriculture, Government of Assam, Mr. Nipan Baishya, Financial Officer of SBI Mukalmua Branch, Mr. Debashis Majumder, President of YVK, Mr. Anupam Debnath, Vice-President of YVK, Mr. Pinku Das, Trustee of YVK, and other distinguished guests. The event celebrated the successful completion of the program and highlighted the potential of mushroom cultivation to generate income and improve livelihoods for rural women. YVK’s project coordinator, Smt. Smriti Rekha Chetia, and Digital Programme Coordinator, Sri Sujay Majumder played a crucial role in the successful implementation of the training program. Their dedication and efforts ensured that the participants gained the necessary knowledge and skills to become successful mushroom cultivators. By empowering women through agricultural training, YVK is contributing to the economic development and social upliftment of rural communities in Assam. This initiative aligns with the organization's vision of creating a self-reliant society through women empowerment.
