The Museum of Solutions empowers children to build a better world together through hands-on experiences based on the real world. We aim to inspire, enable and empower children to bring meaningful change in the world together, today.
Our exhibits and learning experiences are designed to be child-led, radically inclusive and rooted to reality to help children discover and connect to the world around them.

We’re beyond honoured to announce that the Museum of Solutions has won the prestigious Hands On! Children in Museums Award, becoming the first Indian museum to receive this incredible recognition. Competing among inspiring museums worldwide, this award reflects our team's hard work, creativity, and commitment to empowering children as changemakers. It’s a proud moment not just for us but for India. We bring home the Miffy statue, a symbol of our belief in the power of imagination, collaboration, and solutions for a better future. A big shoutout to our fantastic team and young visitors who inspire us daily!
The Judges’ comment
The different zones on each floor address issues and ideas that are contemporary, bold and emotional. MuSo is not just about exhibits, it is about unlocking the potential within every child to change the world, using exhibitions, educational activities and public programmes to promote learning, enjoyment, reflection, creativity and knowledge. MuSo asks kids to put their ideas into practice, to make projects, finding strategies and solutions, and to realise them.

Thank you for guiding, helping and enabling us as we try to give children a seat at the table when it comes to making decisions for them Jose! 💚
At MuSo, we’re firm believers of the fact that every child has a unique perspective, and these unique voices are crucial in shaping our journey.
Right from its conception, MuSo has been developed in consultation with its biggest stakeholders: children. We consult a panel of 25-30 children, from schools all over Mumbai. These children meet us once a month and provide us with feedback on different aspects of MuSo. We incorporate their feedback in the design and content of the museum.
And now, we're eager to bring them back to the table to help us run MuSo and design our programming events 💪 We're also planning to expand this cohort and test ideas with a wider and more diverse audience.
By giving children and young people a seat at the table, we're not just listening - we're co-creating with them. 🌟
Intergenerational partnerships between children and grown-ups are powerful. They challenge us to think differently, innovate boldly, and stay true to the needs and dreams of the next generation.
When children lead, we all learn. Because leadership isn't about age - it's about vision, passion, and the courage to dream up and create a different, better world.
We want MuSo to truly reflects the ideas, hopes, and creativity of those that are at its heart - children and young people and we're very excited to see the magic that happens when these young leaders guide us.
Here's to championing the voices of our young changemakers and building a better world together with them (starting right with MuSo)! 🧒🤝👩💼

Now we have 12 wonderful children creating in real time the future of Museum of Solutions. It was yesterday in the museum's meeting room. After their audit-visit to the museum, they had an intense brainstorming session, and the result: 26 incredible ideas thanks to which MuSo is going to be better because it is going to be what they expect from it, what they dream through it to make a better world.
I always get excited when I attend this little miracle that is a happy reunion between the children and the museum team, a wonderful MuSo team that is an international reference, and that made me feel at home, we have even created our Playlist of the workshop (in the comments).
And this is only the beginning...
Thanks to Tanvi Jindal, Bhavika Bhagat and all the wonderful team of Museum of Solutions for their courage and audacity, the future belongs to you!

Looking back at #PeekABook! 📚
Did you know?
India’s first Children’s Literature Festival in the post-pandemic era – Peek a Book took place right here at MuSo in February this year!
Peek a Book was a vibrant celebration of the wonderful, yet relatively under-explored world of Indian Childrens Literature, designed to whisk kids away from their screens and transport them to the world of books.
Read on to find out more :)

Did you know there's such a career as a Learning Designer?
In our new series, ‘Careers in Arts and Culture,' we explore career paths in the Indian arts and Culture sector. Say hi to our first guest, Aeshwarya Phanse, a Learning Designer from Museum of Solutions and discover exactly what she does!
Last week, I attended #CultureCon2024 at the Museum of Solutions. Thank you Rajatri Biswas for pushing me to tag along.
The event was beautifully curated by Festivals From India & The Art X Company. With opportunities to listen to & interact with industry stalwarts, and pioneers from India's creative landscape, as a co-founder of a new business - AddChai Creative Studio, I left with a mixed bag of emotions. Thankfully mostly positive!
Highlighting a few statements (not verbatim) that led to these emotions, make what you must of them:
🍵 Roshan Abbas - You have to get moving. Everything you need to learn is now at your fingertips. Don't come and talk to me if you haven't spoken to 20 new people at this conference!
🍵Guneet Monga - Elephant Whisperer started as a cold mail. Someone, somewhere decided to throw a dart in the dark. You have to just start, there is no perfect recipe.
🍵 divya bhatia - Jodhpur RIFF started as an idea, took off, and completed 17 years but we still don't have an office!
🍵Mae Mariyam Thomas - I was doing radio journalism in the UK. I knew my craft, life had other plans!
🍵Raghav Meattle - Your best-laid plans can get chucked right out the window. You have to adapt and figure out what makes & keeps you happy!

A little late, but I was thrilled to rep Kulfi Collective at CultureCon India 2024 last week. Congrats to Rashmi Dhanwani and the team at Festivals From India for a wonderful event with very insightful discussions, fireside chats and mentorship labs about the creative economy in India.
It was so great to network with and learn from like-minded peers who are shaping the creative sector across the country- from brand & agency folk to creators, designers, artists, filmmakers and musicians. I especially enjoyed the panel hosted by Amit Gurbaxani and the fun session by Mae Mariyam Thomas!
The Museum of Solutions was a lovely backdrop for the event, and I loved exploring the interactive space. Already looking forward to the next edition!
