About us
Formerly known as the National Buildings Construction Corporation Ltd, NBCC (India) Ltd. was incorporated on November 15, 1960 as Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the now named Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India. The Company today is a proud Navratna enterprise operating in diversified areas of construction sector both at home and overseas with a strong focus on sustainable development. NBCC's unique business model has been instrumental in making the CPSE a market leader in the construction sector executing a robust order book of Rs. 85,000 crore. Apart from behemoth presence pan-India, its versatile portfolio includes projects in Maldives, Mauritius, Africa and many West Asian nations, including Oman. Since its listing in Stock Exchanges in 2012, NBCC has consistently outperformed other listed CPSEs in the market. This growth has been sustained due to the Company's ability to innovate and adapt to the national and global market as a result of strategic diversification through subsidiaries across environmental engineering, real estate and CSR. Winner of a number of awards for its consistent and remarkable performances, NBCC has been receiving ‘Excellent’ rating from the Government of India consecutively since 2004.
