Under the aegis of the Central Vigilance Commission, Vigilance Awareness Week 2024 is being observed in Oil India Limited from 28th October to 3rd November. This year's theme is “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity” across all the spheres and offices of the company. The inaugural event started with the Integrity Pledge, administered by Dr Ranjit Rath, CMD at a function convened at OIL’s Corporate office, Noida in the presence of Functional Directors and other officials of OIL. Shri Pratyush Sinha, IAS (Retd.) and former Central Vigilance Commissioner graced the event as the Chief Guest and delivered an enlightening speech. The annual in-house magazine ‘InTouch’ was also ceremoniously released at the occasion. This year, the stress is on Preventive Vigilance with focus on (a) Capacity Building programs, (b) Identification and implementation of systemic improvement measures, (c) Updation of Circulars/ Guidelines/ Manuals, (d) Disposal of complaints received before 30.06.2024, & (e) Dynamic Digital Presence. Oil India Limited participated in the Central African Business Energy Forum (CABEF-2024) hosted by the Republic of #Gabon under the patronage of His Excellency Brigadier General Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, President of the Transition, President of the Republic Head of State and under the wise direction of H.E. Mr. Marcel Abeke, Minister of Petroleum. The theme of CABEF 2024 was "Natural gas, as a key to the industrialization and economic acceleration of Central Africa through efficient sub-regional institutional integration".
