Organic by MSL recently had the privilege to conduct a workshop on the importance of science communication among the scientific fraternity. Our Managing Director, Tushar Bajaj, and Content Expert, Areeb Sherwani, shared valuable insights, tips, and tricks on how to effectively communicate these discoveries in a language and tone that resonates with the online audience. The workshop was addressed by Sanjay Mishra, Scientist – H/Sr. Adviser at Department of Biotechnology, Dr Ramesh Sonti, Director at ICGEB and Pooja Sehgal – Lead Health and Gender Communications at Gates Foundation India. The discussions were engaging, sparking a keen interest among scientists to utilize media and social media platforms. Organic by MSL has been part of the National Technical Support Unit for the TB Elimination Programme, providing strategic counsel on communication. As part of this initiative, at the recent National Workshop on Advocacy, Communication, and Social Mobilisation to End TB in India, our Senior Vice President & National Lead - Client Operations, Account Planning, and Strategy - Vidhi Thakur, represented ORGANIC by MSL and participated in the panel discussion on "Digital First to End TB." The focus was on leveraging digital solutions to enhance awareness of key TB messages and initiatives among the target audience. The Panel discussion was moderated by Anisha Singh - Project Director ACSM NTSU at the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union) and was joined by Ankoor Gupta - National Head Digital Strategy and Planning at MRM, Padmapriya Sastry - SBCC Digital Health Expert, and Tamseel Hussain - CEO and Founder of pluc.tv Towards the end, Pooja Sehgal – Lead Health and Gender Communications at the Gates Foundation India shared her views with the audience - “This is the best time to make things happen. The opportunity is challenging but relentless efforts can bring change. Every spread of the disease we stop is a big win for the TB Programme.“ She also emphasised the power of collectives – how all stakeholders from the community are working towards driving TB programs and initiatives in India for a #TBMuktBharat.
