I’m happy to share that I’ve completed the SEEK: Self-directed Emotional Learning for Empathy and Kindness course by UNESCO MGIEP. I enrolled in this course back in 2022, and though it’s designed to be completed in 40 hours, it took me 2 years to finish. However, I believe it’s still worth celebrating because the course content is truly unique and isn’t taught in this way anywhere in India. From deeply understanding self-compassion and compassion for others to developing the skills needed to put that compassion into action, this course is focused on nurturing kinder minds for a better world. A heartfelt thank you to Krupalini Swamy Mam and Shobita Rao Mam for introducing and guiding me through this wonderful course.

📝 Literacy is a fundamental human right for all. It opens the door to the enjoyment of other human rights, greater freedoms, and global citizenship. ✏ Literacy is a foundation for people to acquire broader knowledge, skills, values, attitudes, and behaviours to foster a culture of lasting peace based on respect for equality and non-discrimination, the rule of law, solidarity, justice, diversity, and tolerance and build harmonious relations with oneself, other people and the planet. Turn the page on inequality. 📖 Celebrate #LiteracyDay by promoting the right to read for every child, everyone, everywhere. #LiteracyEqualsFreedom #EducationForEveryone
