🚨 Celebrating National Safety Week at VSL India 🚨 We are proud to announce the successful conclusion of the 54th National Safety Week celebrations held at VSL India, across our office, project sites, and factory premises from 4th to 10th March 2025.   The week was a testament to our unwavering commitment to Health & Safety and our core philosophy of Building for Life. Through engaging activities, safety drills, and awareness programs, our team came together with one shared goal: to reinforce safety as a fundamental value across all levels of our organization.   A special shout-out to Pulak Roy, a Semiskilled Worker at our Phaphamau project, who was awarded a commendation for exemplary behavior. His quick instincts and decisive action during his travel to work saved the lives of everyone in the vehicle. His bravery and presence of mind truly reflect the values we hold dear in creating a safe environment. We are incredibly proud of him! Pulak's actions remind us all that safety is not only about following protocols – it’s also about the willingness to act swiftly and responsibly when faced with challenges.    His actions reflect the very essence of Building for Life, where safety isn’t just a priority but a core value that keeps everyone safe, no matter the circumstances. 🚆🌉 Celebrating #Engineering #Excellence – The Anji Khad Bridge! India’s first cable-stayed railway bridge, the Anji Khad Bridge, marks a milestone in innovation and infrastructure development. With successful trial runs, this iconic structure is now closer to transforming rail connectivity in the breathtaking landscapes of Jammu & Kashmir! 💡 What Makes It Special? Part of the ambitious Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (#USBRL) Project, it connects Katra and Reasi, spanning the dramatic Anji Khad gorge. Strategically positioned southeast of the  Iconic Chenab Bridge, it links Tunnel T2 on the Katra side with Tunnel T3 on the Reasi side. Supported by 96 stay cables anchored to a 193m single pylon, this asymmetrical bridge spans 473.25m in total, with a main span of 290m and a deck height of 195m above the riverbed. 🏗️ VSL India’s Proud Contribution: As a trusted partner in this landmark project, we worked alongside Hindustan Construction Company Limited (HCC) to bring this engineering marvel to life. Our scope of work included: ✅ Supplying and installing 926 MT of stay cables with cutting-edge VSL SSI 2000e Stay Anchorage systems. ✅ Providing 96 VSL Friction Dampers and an advanced Structural Health Monitoring System (SHMS) for optimal safety and longevity. ✅ Managing precision installations, with cable lengths ranging from 79.5m to 294m. 🌟 A Testament to Innovation The Anji Khad Bridge represents the resilience and ingenuity of Indian engineering, standing tall against challenging terrains and weather conditions.
