Community Marketing Specialist [Urgent Search]

It takes a skill-based approach to assessment, allowing companies to automatically generate standardized tests based on various skills and then accurately measure the developer's performance on those skills. HackerEarth also has a thriving global community of over 7M passionate developers all across the globe, where they practice their coding skills and participate in hackathons and coding challenges.We are seeking a passionate and energetic Community Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our campus ambassador program, partnering with educational institutions to conduct events both offline and online, and maintaining strong relationships with our existing community of developers. You will play a crucial role in expanding our reach, increasing engagement, and ensuring our community remains active and connected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campus Ambassador Program:
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and manage the campus ambassador program.
  • Recruit, train, and support campus ambassadors to promote our events and brand on their respective campuses.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of campus ambassadors, providing feedback and incentives to drive engagement.
  • Event Partnership and Management:
  • Identify and establish partnerships with universities, coding bootcamps, and other educational institutions for event collaborations.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute events both offline and online, such as hackathons, coding challenges, workshops, and webinars.
  • Work closely with the marketing and events team to ensure successful event promotion and execution.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Maintain regular communication with our developer community through various channels, including social media, forums, newsletters, and webinars.
  • Create and manage content that resonates with our community, such as blog posts, tutorials, and success stories.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from the community to continuously improve our offerings and engagement strategies.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including developers, campus ambassadors, educational partners, and sponsors.
  • Act as a point of contact for community members, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and suggestions.
  • Organize and participate in community meetups, networking events, and other activities to strengthen community bonds.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.- 2+ years of experience in community management, marketing, or a related role.- Strong understanding of the developer community and tech industry trends.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Experience in event planning and execution, both offline and online.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Proficiency in using social media platforms, content management systems, and community engagement tools.- Creative thinker with a passion for building and nurturing communities.
