Í fiskeldisstöðvunum er mikið af laxi, en einnig mikið af seyru (fiskskítur og fóðurafgangur). 🐟🐟💩 Ein snjöll leið til að nýta/endurvinna fiskseldisseyru er að þurrka hana og brenna til að fá lífkol. Lífkol lítur út eins og viðarkol og hefur góða eiginleika sem geta bætt jarðveginn og nýtist í garðyrkju. 🌱✨ Íslenski sjávarklasinn, Geo Salmo og Matís vinna saman að því að þróa frumgerð og sem fyrsta skref söfnum við upplýsingum frá öllum sem búa á Íslandi og hafa gaman af garðyrkju (inni eða úti). Hérna er linkur á könnunina Endilega hafa samband við mig ef það eru einhverjar spurningar eða vantar meiri upplýsingar — english — The aquaculture farms produce a lot of salmon as well as fish sludge (essentially fish poop and leftover feed). 🐟💩 One clever way to use/recycle the fish sludge is to dry it, burn it and make biochar. Biochar looks like charcoal and has good properties to improve the soil and can be used for gardening. 🌱✨ The Iceland Ocean cluster, Geo Salmo and Matís are working together to make a prototype/samples and as a preliminary step, we are collecting information from anyone living in Iceland, who enjoys gardening (inside and/or outside). https://lnkd.in/eZyAu3d8
