Today, Kristján Óli Ingvarsson pitched the future of liquidations at the Google stage on Latitude59, and that's very cool. It was a silent pitch, and you could only hear it wearing headphones. Hence the headphones on Kristján's head.
One of our founders sharing great insight to the official establishment of IceBAN led by the one and only Jon I. Bergsteinsson! A little bird told us their first pitch event will be in August this year. If you are a Startup founder in Iceland, following them is a MUST.
We (or more specifically Kristján Óli Ingvarsson) pitched at the EBAN - European Business Angel Network event last Monday and it went so smooth it was like pressing a play button on a tape! The EBAN Event was super fun, we made great connections and it was amazing to get in touch with such a huge network of angels at the same place. We, the Kuratech team, even thought it was so special that we wanted to establish one in Iceland, but later figured out we were beaten to it by the great Jon I. Bergsteinsson last week! So that is definitely something to look out for if you are a young Icelandic Start Up 🇮🇸 Thank you to Tenity, Uve and Kevin for the opportunity and the endless network you have brought to us, and to the Panelists in the jury for keeping us on our toes with quality questions Nikko, Alexandra and David. Then the icing on the cake was of course to meet the founder of Bolt, Martin Villig 🇪🇪 , at the event. What a king. Next up: Pitching at Latitude59 on Friday!
Yesterday our founder and CEO Kristján Óli Ingvarsson took on the big stage at Iceland Innovation Week competing for a pitching ticket to Slush where Kuratech finished among the top 3 best pitches. First of all the production around Iceland Innovation Week has been amazing, all around magnificent, as you can tell from this beautiful stage! Big kudos to all involved, especially Edda Konráðsdóttir. 🪩 We are very pleased to have had the opportunity to pitch in front of such an amazing audience and get some experience on our new pitch deck that we will be presenting on the biggest stage with Tenity at EBAN - European Business Angel Network on Monday!
