A few days ago, we had the pleasure of attending the last co-creation session of The Food Odyssey Project, in Turin! 🎉 Escape4Change did a great job organising the session and sharing their knowledge on game-based education and game design. With the support of all project members - Institute for Health and Environment, Global Footprint Network, Biotehniški izobraževalni center Ljubljana, Mediterráneo International, Poljoprivredno- hemijska skola "Dr Djordje Radic", and Istituto tecnico"Garibaldi/Da Vinci" Cesena this was a true reciprocal learning opportunity during #ErasmusDays. And the catering and cooking session with "Il Gusto del Mondo" was simply amazing. 😋 And our journey didn’t end there! Maria Elisa Zuppiroli, Giulia Lombardo Pijola and Gianluca Corzani also took a road trip through the Piedmont region to visit the birthplace of Slow Food, an experience motivated by our admiration of their work and mission 🌾❤️ If you want to see some photos, do check our instagram and facebook accounts, as we will soon share some pics there! And, if you don't yet know the work of Slow Food, we highly recommend exploring their movement for “good, clean, and fair food for all" — an inspiring model for sustainable food systems worldwide! 🌐✨ Going back to The Food Odyssey, we will soon share more results 😉 Stay tuned and join us on this food journey! 🌱 #TheFoodOdysseyProject #ErasmusPlus #SustainableFoodSystems #FoodAndClimateEducation #CoCreation #SlowFoodJourney #InteractiveLearning #FutureOfFood #InspiringChange
We had a blast at our final co-creation session! 🌍✨ Last week’s in-person co-creation session brought our series of collaborative activities to an inspiring close, and what a treat it was! 🍲 A lot to digest, but absolutely delightful! Il Gusto Del Mondo made sure our food and cooking sessions were as inclusive and sustainable as the project itself—keeping us fueled and inspired! 👩🍳🌱 (Check out their link in the comments!) Across three online sessions and one in-person meetup during #ErasmusDays, our diverse group of educators, stakeholders, and food professionals from all over Europe came together to develop innovative tools for sustainable food systems education. 🌎👩🏫👨🌾 In this last session, we dove into game design! 🎲 We tackled five key topics, each explored by a different group: 🌱 Food waste in general 🏠 Food waste in households 🌿 Resource use and origins 🌍 Ecosystem dynamics 🧩 Impact of our daily choices Some groups used cards 🃏 , while others incorporated AI 🤖 , showcasing the diversity of approaches in our game design process! We are all proud of the session and looking forward to seeing how they will be used as inputs for our interactive digital escape room. Are you also curious to learn more about it? Stay tuned as we bring our ideas to life!
