The breast cancer awareness month is celebrated globally every October to create awareness about the most common cancer among women globally. Four years ago, in 2021, we made a bet - the idea was to keep the resort open through the festive season allowing travelers to discover the beauty of the Tuscan secret-season through fall, winter and into the New Year. I am incredibly honored to have been awarded “Leader of the Quarter" on our special celebration day. What happens on Housekeeping Appreciation Week at CdB? This is the time during our busy season when we honor and appreciate the dedicated associates who keep our resort suites, villas and our immense hotel spaces spotless, tidy while adding that personal touch that makes all the difference. From daily cross-departmental breakfasts to ice-cream breaks, contests such as ‘sew the button’, a unique (not-on-ice) ‘curling’-like competition with brooms, forest cleanup walks and fun trainings, we all had a ball reconnecting and bonding as a family and celebrating the team members that are essential to CdB’s success. According to the UN Environment program ‘Bees are part of the biodiversity on which we all depend for our survival’ yet ‘bee populations have been declining globally’.   To raise awareness about the importance of these ‘pollinators’ in our ecosystem, this year our resort has introduced a Beehive Experience, which allows guests to learn all the secrets behind the honey production, including enjoying a sneak peek into bees' daily lives directly looking inside their Bee houses.   Totally buzzworthy 🐝 https://bit.ly/4dTm4pD #RosewoodSustains
