#BiennaleTeatro2025 This year's #BiennaleCollegeTeatro presents two workshops investigating "the expressive potential of movement and body language" and the interweaving of "impulse, voice and action": through guided improvisation, structured exercises and creative exploration, participants will strengthen their connection with their physicality and unlock new possibilities for storytelling in Evangelia Rantou's masterclass, while with Thomas Richards and the Theatre No Theatre performance team they will follow a pathway towards creativity between body and voice that will end with the development of "a living and meaningful mini-creation" based on a song and/or text. #BiennaleCinema2025 #Venezia82 Check out the new call for #FinalCutInVenice (deadline: Monday 9 June 2025), the programme breeding talents and awards that provides concrete assistance to complete films from Africa, as well as Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Yemen. During the 13th edition of Final Cut in Venice, which will take place from 31 August to 2 September 2025 as part of the #VeniceProductionBridge, the working copies of selected films-in-progress will be presented to producers, buyers, distributors and film festival programmers.

In how many ways can theatre be narrated? How can one push "the tragic until it overturns in comic"? To answer these questions, at the #BiennaleCollegeTeatro, the masterclass conducted by Roberta Ferraresi with Massimo Milella will develop "a body of individual and collective criticism" that will observe, discuss and narrate the themes and events of the #BiennaleTeatro2025 through multiple forms and languages, while Gardi Hutter will hold a workshop on clowns, "existential players" complicated in their simplicity, who "always fail – but they do it brilliantly" and "decrease the fear from the irreversible". #BiennaleTeatro2025 An immersive workshop to explore the interplay of sound, movement and ritual or a masterclass to delve into the expressive forms of the actor and the dancer? At the #BiennaleCollegeTeatro, Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura will lead participants on a "journey of becoming" that draws inspiration from African spiritual traditions to unveil "a transformative space where performance meets ritual, and storytelling becomes a reclamation of identity, memory, and the wild self", while Eugenio Barba, Julia Varley and the Odin Teatret ensemble will identify the common principles of theatre and dance, both "art forms based on human presence on stage". If music is your passion and you are a composer, sound artist or performer aged 18-30, you have time until Thursday 13 March to apply for the new call of the #BiennaleCollegeMusica, the programme of residency, research, creation and production that will take you to the #BiennaleMusica2025. The young participants in the call are invited to explore music as a living organism in which composition and performance are intimately connected and inseparable parts of the same organic process of creation. 5 musical projects will be selected and defined over three sessions in Venice with the support of Artistic Director Caterina Barbieri and mentors Ellen Arkbro, DeForrest Brown Jr., Chuquimamani-Condori, Thierry Coduys, Lorenzo Senni and Marcel Weber. Princess Isatu Hassan Bangura, Eugenio Barba / Julia Varley / Odin Teatret, Roberta Ferraresi, Gardi Hutter, Evangelia Rantou, Thomas Richards / Theatre No Theatre, Yana Eva Thönnes, Sandra Toffolatti / Giorgio Sangati: check out the #BiennaleCollegeTeatro workshops aimed at scholars, spectators and enthusiasts who this year will explore "the mystery of the theatrical body".

Are you a dancer or a choreographer? Would you like to test yourself on the stage of the #BiennaleDanza2025? Then the #BiennaleCollegeDanza might help you realise your dream! Under the mentorship of Wayne McGregor, the 2025 programme will select 16 dancers and 2 choreographers for an intensive three-month residency led by world-class teachers, where you will be able to develop your personal artistic skills. Between classes and workshops, the experiences will conclude within the 19th International Festival of Contemporary Dance (Venice, 17 July > 2 August 2025), where the young artists will stage choreographer Sasha Waltz's adaptation of Terry Riley's IN C, collaborate on the site-specific project THE HERDS, and develop the original creations conceived by the selected choreographers. The programme will also allow participants to attend all the activities in the Festival. Selections are open until Thursday 6 March.

In occasione dei 70 anni dalla scomparsa di Alberto Martini, la #BiennaleCollegeASAC dedica il nuovo bando di #ScrivereInResidenza alla produzione grafica e pittorica del prolifico autore di Oderzo, presente in quattordici edizioni della #BiennaleArte. Fino a 4 giovani laureate/i under 30, studiose/i di Arte, avranno l'opportunità di fare ricerca nelle sedi della #BiennaleArchivio e della Fondazione Oderzo Cultura, con l'obiettivo di redigere testi critici e contribuire alla valorizzazione e rilettura dell'opera dell'"artista dell'onirico". Would you like to be among the protagonists of the #BiennaleMusica2025? There's time until Thursday 13 March to apply for the new call of the #BiennaleCollegeMusica, the programme of residency, research, creation and production that this year will select up to 5 proposals by composers, sound artists and performers under 30 in alignment with the theme of the next Festival: music as a form of cosmogony. The eligible musical project categories are: • live performance (with optional audiovisual component); • acousmatic composition with multi-channel diffusion.
