The event took place at the Reliance Jio World Convention Centre, Mumbai, and it was the world's largest trade summit on #flexible #films and #laminates for packaging and #niche applications. With more than 2,000 attendes from 825 organisations representing 28 countries, the event proved to be a crucial moment for the global #packaging industry. Over 100 exhibition stands allowed participants to explore the topic of Post-Consumer Recyclates (#PCR), analysing innovative #solutions and cutting-edge #technologies that promote increasingly sustainable practices for a responsible #growth. Yes, maintaining proper ink viscosity is crucial in gravure or flexo printing for several reasons: 1. Consistent Ink Transfer: Proper viscosity ensures that the ink transfers uniformly from the engraved cells of the printing cylinder onto the substrate. If the ink is too thick, it may not fill the cells properly, leading to incomplete print. If it’s too thin, excess ink might be transferred, causing smudging or blurring. 2. O Fórum de Impressão Sustentável foi um projeto inovador para a Abflexo, buscando tratar do tópico desafiador e pouco discutido de: como podemos tornar a impressão um processo mais sustentável, não apenas as embalagens finais produzidas? Foi feito um processo de curadoria para encontrar palestrantes capazes de informar os convertedores presentes, bem como a própria Associação, do que precisa ser feito para causarmos menos impactos ambientais. Os primeiros passos foram feitos, como o uso de crachás feitos com papel reciclado, uso de descartáveis 100% recicláveis e/ou biodegradáveis, e buscando utilizar o mínimo de peças de uso único possíveis.
