During the meeting of UEMS PRM Section and Board in #Malta, Prof.Stefano Negrini, Specialist in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine, and Scientific Director of ISICO, has been awarded with the accreditation of the clinical programme of care, titled "Rehabilitation for patients with Idiopathic Scoliosis". Thank you for this honour, it is a great achievement for our Institute.

We thank Catarina Aguiar Branco and Markos Sgantzos from the PPC of the UEMS PRM Section and Board #Malta for giving Stefano Negrini the opportunity to present the new Thematic Group Cochrane Rehabilitation, Functioning, and Disability Cochrane Rehabilitation to all the delegates of the National #PRM Societies in Europe! "PPSCT -- Principles and Practice of Scoliosis Conservative Treatment"— the Scoliosis Online Master Course is in its 10th Anniversary Edition 2025 Our course has reached 63 nations worldwide since 2016, which is a significant milestone. Participants are given the chance to study from dozens of instructors who are leading experts in rehabilitation treatment on a global scale. The PPSCT course is delivered entirely online and self-administered through a dedicated online learning platform. A live session led by a teaching staff member reviews the topics covered in each module and discusses clinical scenarios that apply the concepts taught. We are very proud of our ISICO Teaching Staff, who have been committed to the success of this course for the past ten years. The enrolled participants are continually expanding their knowledge until November, when they will have the opportunity to apply the new notions they have acquired throughout the year during the final examination. Our patients’ questions are often opportunities to provide useful information to them and others. A patient's question prompted us to examine the possible correlation between scoliosis, degrees of curvature, and height growth: "Is there a relationship, however approximate, between the number of Cobb degrees and the number of cm lost in height? SOSORT—International Society on Scoliosis Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Treatment—is a non-profit organisation founded in 2004. Stefano Negrini, Scientific Director of Isico, is one of the 8 founders. Dedicated to evidence-based non-operative care for people with #scoliosis and structural changes of the #spine, SOSORT fosters research on the early detection, prevention, treatment, and outcomes of patients. During the annual meetings, the SOSORT Award for the best abstract submitted is assigned each year.
