The seminar gave us the opportunity to fully understand the Interreg Europe Programme’s rules on project implementation. 🤝 On March 19th and 20th, Angelica Mazzina was also one of the 450 participants from all across Europe who attended the 11th edition of the 𝙀𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙚, 𝙡𝙚𝙩'𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚! Interregional Cooperation Forum, two days centred around the ten-year anniversary of the 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, a powerful tool for knowledge, collaboration and networking developed by #InterregEurope. We also had the chance to attend some of the many informative sessions focused on inspiring good practices for policy design, implementation and evaluation: 🟢 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙮 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜, in which Antigoni Gkoufa illustrated the impressive work done to develop the Climate Change Observatory of Attica region; 📄 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙘 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩: 𝙖 𝙥𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙘𝙮 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙙, in which Ales Hancic shared Slovenia’s experience applying strategic foresight techniques to identify the needed skills for the industrial development of the country; 🚋 𝙀𝙫𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚-𝙗𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣-𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙤𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮, in which Maria Morfoulaki from Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH), Lead Partner of REFOCUS Interreg Europe, presented the good practice on decision support tools for mobility planning in the wider area of Thessaloniki. 🚐 Finally, on the last day of the event, we participated in the study visit on 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 (DRT), where we had the chance to learn all about #LajkBus, a DRT service for the less densely populated residential and industrial parts of the city, and #LajkBike, Krakow’s (𝗲-)𝗯𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, skillfully accompanied by Krakow Transport Authority’s director Lukasz Franek. The time in Krakow was a great opportunity to get insights on the #future of interregional cooperation, exchange experiences and ideas within the Interreg Europe community, and gain valuable knowledge to shape 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿, 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀.  #EuropeCooperates #InterregionalCooperation #Interreg

📢 How can #DigitalTools strengthen #AlternativeFoodNetworks? 🌱🌾 📆 On March 11, Localog - Piattaforma per la Logistica Contadina, the Italian #InnovationHub of the #Food4CEProject, hosted its third #CapacityBuildingEvent, focusing on #digitalization in #AFNs. 🎙️ The session featured Francisco Martinez Frutos from Open Food Network (OFN), who presented how their open-source e-Commerce platform helps #SmallFarmers and #FoodHubs connect, sell directly to consumers and businesses, and create collaborative food networks. Unlike traditional #eCommercePlatforms, OFN is a commons-based tool, reducing costs and promoting a network-driven approach to food distribution. 🎯 Participants explored how OFN could improve #Logistics, #KnowledgeSharing, and #Interoperability with existing software used by Gruppi di Acquisto Solidale (GAS) and local retailers. ✅ The discussion also addressed the potential of local food aggregation for public procurement, offering small farmers stable revenue streams through institutional buyers like schools and public canteens. 🤝 The event reinforced the importance of #NetworkBuilding, #PolicySupport, and #DigitalInnovation to scale sustainable #FoodSystems in Italy and beyond. 💡 Curious to learn more? 🔍 Read the full article on our website and discover how #LOCALOG and #Food4CE are shaping the future of #SustainableFoodSystems in #CentralEurope: https://lnkd.in/dhFy7ViN #ShortFoodSupplyChains #InterregCentralEurope ITL (Institute for Transport and Logistics Foundation)
