1st NATURAL POWER LIFE Project Annual Meeting – Two Days of Collaboration and Progress! ✨🌍 We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of the 1st NATURAL POWER LIFE Project annual meeting, which spanned two highly productive days hosted by the Coordinator, Versalis! 🌱 Throughout the meeting, all Work Package leaders and partners presented detailed updates, including their objectives, key tasks and outcomes, deliverables and milestones, along with the next steps for the upcoming 6 months. The NATURAL POWER LIFE project is focused on sustainably replacing hazardous herbicides and biocides with pelargonic acid-based products from renewable sources, aiming to reduce the environmental impact of synthetic alternatives. 🌿 These two days were packed with valuable discussions, strategic planning, and collaborative efforts that will drive us forward toward our shared goal of promoting sustainable solutions. 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 & 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐚 🌞 We're pleased to share the results of our latest tests at the Novara industrial site and railway area this summer. As with our spring tests, we compared 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑®, the #herbicide for professional use with a desiccant and suckering action based on #pelargonicacid from #renewable sources, at concentrations of 10% and 5%, following the same protocol. This repeat comparison helps us gain deeper insights into the performance and efficiency of 𝐒𝐔𝐍𝐏𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐑® under varying conditions. Trials Update: Exploring Weeding Strategies in Lombardy 🌿 On March 25th, we conducted two significant trials in Mantova: Green Field Test: Comparison between mechanical weeding, SUNPOWER® alone, and one chemical strategy using SUNPOWER® combined with another commercial product. Railway Test: Comparison between mechanical weeding, SUNPOWER® alone, and one chemical strategy using SUNPOWER® combined with another commercial product.
