Participants at any stage of their research careers are invited to present and share their inter- and multi-disciplinary research papers (even at preliminary stages) within and beyond the social sciences. Young researchers (Ph. D.s, Postdocs, or early career researchers) are welcome. SEEDS Economics welcomes submissions of long abstracts or full papers from researchers in PDF or Word format at all career stages. La fase post elettorale in Germania sembra finalmente aprire a un cambiamento, allontanandosi dal mantra di deficit zero e debito vicino al 60% ad ogni costo (si ricorda che questi parametri sono scelte politiche e non trovano riscontro in nessuna teoria economica). Gran parte di questa maggiore spesa (tedesca ed europea) potrebbe finanziare investimenti per la difesa. È vero che anche le spese per la difesa contengono elementi di innovazione e creano spillovers tecnologici, ma occorre ricordare ancora una volta il ruolo della R&D come leva primaria di sviluppo nel lungo periodo. Quest’anno sarà la Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano ad avere l’onere e l'onore di ospitare, dal 28 al 30 maggio prossimi, la conferenza annuale del Centro di ricerca interuniversitario SEEDS Economics, ormai un evento di punta per il confronto tra accademia, policy-maker e professionisti sui temi della sostenibilità e dell’economia ambientale. Tutti i ricercatori interessati sono invitati a presentare i loro lavori, anche in fase preliminare. Seeds accetta l’invio di abstract estesi o paper completi in formato pdf o word, con scadenza fissata all’11 aprile 2025.
